Getting it inspected before your next desert trip rather than after is the sensible call because whatever is causing that noise will be under significantly more stress off road than it is in normal city driving and a loose mount or worn bushing that is manageable on tarmac can become a genuine problem when the chassis is flexing hard over dunes.
